View Full Version : Adding Amazon to a thematic site for Search Engines and users alike

Hi Everyone,

I am planning to launch a thematic web site, and I thought it would be a good idea to include a subselection of Amazon's books on my site. This (I reckon) would have two benefits. First it would provide content to Google (and other search engines), and finally it would give users the added value I required for that specific subject. Am I wasting my time on this? I would appreciate your thoughts and if you know of any php scripts that might help me I would be delighted.

Remember I am not trying to spam any search engine, just providing specific and relevant information for the web site visitors as well as google.

Thanks

Krilin

Specific product links with good long descriptions from your site, that has a great deal to do with your content can only help your site be properly indexed/categorized by Google.

As far as the other question, please refer to this new post below. I just posted it in the affiliate programs section concerning my Amazon Merchandise Feed (http://www.thinkbling.com).

The "Freebie" package exactly answers your questions and your need.

It was developed to do exactly what you ask about: to SEO-augment your site by adding about 9,500 extra "pages" (dynamic php made to look static), plus all listed books are relevant to your theme (because you select the Amazon search phrase).

My opinion is that 9,500 extra pages, on topic, changing content daily, with no effort beyond a modest one-time setup, is a pretty good deal (granted, I have a biased viewpoint).

You can find out more here--

SEO Tools, Toys , and Packages (http://seo-toys.com/)
--by looking at the "Freebie" package description.

The install takes very little time, save for as much or as little customization as you care to apply to two HTML pages.
