Bought expired domain

Just bought a domain which expired about two weeks before.

Install wordpress and start blogging. A couple of hours later, Google index and cache one page. But two days later, google de-index it, even the cache is gone.

Does expired domain has something to do with google indexing ?
Should I keep the domain or just trash it and buy a new one ?

maybe its not expired but dropped domain, and the domain just you bought keep it maybe if you lucky after a few month the PR will be back and my advice if you serious with PR domain check google baclink before buy it

Have you renewed the domain name already. I suppose that you are having temporary issue with google right now. And I think that time will fix it.

What was your criteria for selecting that particular domain?

If you found the name good and catchy, just stick with it and re-submit the same for indexing.
