$50 software box design contest - feedback guaranteed

Hi all.

Following my successful $65 logo design contest (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=9794827), I've decided to hold another at DP :D

USD50 Software Box Design Contest (WTF is a software box!? (http://images.google.com/images?client=safari&rls=en-us&q=software%20box%20design&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&um=1&sa=N&tab=wi))

The design is for a script (T D D L S . c o m) example (http://katz.cd/)
Related words: free, open source, ddl, download, direct download, warez (:D)

Final design MUST:

be at least 800*1000 at 72PPI
contain logo icon (http://www.tddls.com/wp-content/themes/classic/images/logo.png) (the 3 circles) somewhere
say "T D D L S" (without spaces)
say "free" and "open source" somewhere
be clean and look professional :D
have a PSD version


Contest details

I will provide feedback to every submission
Payment will be made via Paypal
Contest will end on 5th Dec (May end earlier if I decide on a design, or later if I decide to extend it.)
I reserve the right to end the contest without announcing a winner (I've never seen a software box design competition at DP, so I'm not sure how the standard would be like)

I've started this project but the psd or ai of the logo really would be nice so that we don't all have to recreate the logo.
Sorry for the delay, it was night here ;) I've requested that the logo designer send me PSDs of larger dimensions, so before he replies, please just use/blow up the original image file first. I have attached the original PSD of similar dimensions (http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=692b9d594619031fd2db6fb9a8902bda) (if it is any help at all). The quality loss, if any, will not be taken into account. Once the designer replies, I'll then post the PSD here again.

Submissions' Feedback
@enteens: Looks pretty good, but I'm not too fond of the fonts you used in the design. As aforementioned, I'll like the design to look professional, so the font you used for the tagline isn't that suitable. Sample text could look better too ;) "Direct download" at the side looks a lil' squashed. Top logo can be shifted more left, so that it is centered, instead of being aligned to the right.

@e-mail2u: First thing that strikes me, is the beveled logo - and I don't like that. Also, the dimensions of your box looks out of proportion. The text "T D D L S" and "Free ... Software" looks too web1.0 (I'm not saying that I want a web2.0 design, but I do not want anything web1.0) "T D D L S" at the side is out of perspective. Other than that, I quite like the header and footer.

Here is my try. I resized it for posting, but the original file is the correct size. Also, I recreated a vector image of the balls and will throw it in so you will have it for future projects if I'm chosen the winner. Thanks!

@e-mail2u: I don't see much difference, and it still does not look professional (to me, at least).

@artexius: Looks great, but could you try it on white instead of the grey/black?

@jackieh1791: Looks really great! :D I'm tempted to end this contest now, but I'll just wait for a lil' while more :D But it's a great entry. Can you try to change the perspective of the box?

@jackieh1791: Thanks for the revision, but the perspective looks kind of awkward - I think it's the bottom left hand corner. Can you try to correct it?

@enteens: First things first, spelling error in "Download" (spelt Downlad :p) The design looks too messy - clean up on the reflections.

@Drreynolds: Looks okay, I like the color scheme. Can you try moving the text (Open source [Free]) at the bottom more to the left so that it's centered? (It looks rather squashed to the right at the moment) Also, the watermark (the question marks I suppose?) are hindering my view of the design, perhaps you can try to use another type of watermark so that I can see the details of the design better.

@watari: I have a lil' difficulty seeing the details on the box, perhaps a slightly larger size? Also, the side of the box looks too wide. Try moving "for Open Source) away from the curve of the footer, so that it looks more spacious. More feedback will be available once I can better view the design ;

@DrZapp: I don't like the perspective, and the shadow looks odd. Also, design is rather plain for my liking.

@xart: Looks great! Except can you try incorporating more colors into the top part of the design, instead of it just being blue.
