Yahoo Major Algo Change

Anyone notice a major change in Yahoo?

Today I was running a rank report for a site, and it mysteriously gained 8 page one listings. This appears to be a significant tweak to their algorithm which places even greater importance on backlinks.

Any thoughts or observations?

Yeah, it's been going on for the last 5 days.
Some sites are messed up though, it's giving wrong titles and using incorrect domain versions.
It does look like some of these are being corrected today though but seeing some wild swings in rankings.

Interesting. My titles and domains are fine. Yahoo is not reading the Meta Description, but that is likely because the site is in Yahoo's Dir.

I'm behind the curve on this one - 5 days. I normally run reports on Friday, so this was a pleasant surprise. Also the boost in traffic is nice. Hope it lasts. :D

For me personally,it has always been difficult ranking in Yahoo! than Google.simply because Google acknolodges content,Yahoo! simply looks at the website's trackrecord and Trust Rank.
