mostly via my sig, I have a couple banners elsewhere, But you also need to realize you only get $25 if that user becomes a publisher or advertiser, not just if they sign up for affiliates.

I have 3 links in my sig for about 2 weeks now. Got 130 clickthroughs and 1 signup for $25.
But aparently you dont get paid until the person that you refer actually sells a link. Not quite sure how it works.

An affiliate is confirmed after they have had a site accepted into the program the they have had the code on their website for one week. An advertiser is confirmed after they have bought any (1) link.

Ahh so if I had 130 clickthroughs in 2 weeks and it takes a week I might have some more money coming. :)

If you have a rockin site, you should be able to get some good text links on there. I make a decent chunk of cash on one of my sites from TLA. It's actually more than I make from AdSense. It's a really small site, but money is money.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say that you need a PR4 site to get in, anyone have a PR4 and get rejected?

My site was a PR 5 and got in no problem. It's already sold a couple links. I'm quite pleased with the program.

They've done a great job with it and it's going to go even further than it is right now. I see a bright future ahead of this company.

it looks like this text link site only works with dynamic html... why would they limit themselves like that? static html is what you want for seo.

Dyanmic HTML? I think not. It is displayed as static HTML -- that's all search engines see.

Well I signed up two of my sites for it about a week ago (actually, two months but not approved till after PR update). No advertisers want links yet on my sites :( But I'm patient.
I didn't think I'd get many clicks from DP so I didn't put affiliate link in sig. I'm trying it now to see what happens :)

This is one of those things where you have to be the first to do it...I was basically the only one referring on DP to TLA, so I gobbled up most of it -- while there are still some people out there signing up, it's a lot less now.

Hi Payton, I just wait a couple of days to get approved by Tex-Link-Ads for my PR4 blog. No any problems. After that, i get one sale ($4.98) for one link ads that i sell in my blog. ;)
I think, it's better if you all send a questions to TLA about your problems. :)

I also have a pr4 blog and a decent traffic. Will TLA accept this. Or I should until my pr up to pr5?
fsmedia

I'd submit it. If it's not accepted, it will be put into a queue and rechecked at a later time -- the next PR update.

"If you decide to use dynamic pages (i.e., the URL contains a "?" character), be aware that not every search engine spider crawls dynamic pages as well as static pages. It helps to keep the parameters short and the number of them few."

i sent 'em some email, haven't heard back yet... appreciate the feedback on this company, i hope that they have some new options for supporting static html pages.

It won't let you resubmit because they recheck them every two months. So you dont' have to worry about it. As for Pr3 getting rejected, that happened to me too- pretty much all you have to do is send them an email back about the site and they'll manually approve it. I just wrote about this on my blog today here (http://www.kevinjb.com/2006/07/24/text-link-ads/).

You can display direct links to your site listing now too, just click 'Edit my listings' and you will see a link for you site. It's very helpful :)

Thanks for the tip. I didn't notice that :P I did notice (after their support told me they don't do 'Premium Text Links' anymore) that they no longer link to your site in the details part.

some months back i submitted my blogspot blogs to TLA, initially they didn't accept them, but as soon as the new PR update took place and my blogs went from pr0 to PR4 they mailed me with acceptance info. Too bad they don't have option to put those ads on blogspot blogs :( how sad
