Dear Google,

I am writing this email in concern of the upcoming advertising campaign (as well as major release and contest for a new tool) I will be conducting for a network of my sites. As you can see by my current earnings through your program, are not very significant but I hope to change that. I am writing this to hopefully alleviate any posible issues with a traffic spike to my sites in the upcoming days due to my increased involvement in promoting them. I can assure you that my CTR will hopefully remain where it ussually stands, at about 3-4%, implying that the clicks are not fraudulent, but rather, the increased earnings are due to a significant increase in the ammount of traffic and impressions. I would love to hear back from you back regarding this issue. Thanks a lot!

Is this professional enough? Thanks for your advice, let me know if it's a bad idea to post "private" letter on a forum...

I dont know if you should change it. Maybe just saying 3 to 4% CTR is not convincing enough. Just think over it and I will wait for others to comment.

cheers

Good point, 3-4% don't imply the clicks are not fraudulent. You can still have 3-4% fraudulent clicks. You can say, however, that you don't click on your own ads and you strive to follow the TOS.

advertising campaign (as well as major release and contest for a new tool)
if you know where you advertise ( web sites or newspaper, etc ) give details so they can verify and compare additional increase in CTR to the possible referral source you may have

I advertise through Myspace (sort of, same issue as Twan) and probably a lot of links on Adbrite the next week... Hence my concern ;) THe things is, I am going to send traffic to my network site which doesnt have any adsense and then let the user choose which site they want to go to. In any case, I already sent the letter, and if they reply I will tell them I strive to follow the TOS, which I do. :)

Act professionally and you'll be treated professionally!

However, Google does treat no-referrer traffic with extreme scrutiny.

Also let us know how your AdBrite advertising goes!
