How we can get ranking in yahoo search engine? I have some site which is ranking in google but not yahoo

I have read some good and proven tactics, url submission might not be a good idea to start. Because the farther you go, you will learn and see more better ideas until you see your site from title to description to content is perfected, then it is the best time for you to submit your url. They have discussed a couple of good ideas on the other threads in this forum ..

Try placing attractive three letter words in your title and description capitalized.. It works, even in forums. The best way for yahoo as I have observed, is participating in their programs such as yahoo answers. If you have friends, pay them to post articles or stories even if they are not true, then of course it must have in some way connected to what your site offers. :D

Submit your site in Yahoo directory and also submit your site map in yahoo....
It's very useful to increase your ranking....

If you try to optimize the website for google sometimes it gets best optimized for yahoo.

Here im in more details as you prescribed:-
Yahoo ranks site only back links as major factor.They some what matter about your content.Get a high rank in yahoo is comparatively easy than Google.

Where as Google works on the principle of relevant content and quality backlinks and site age.Google doesn't not give a high rank to a new website.

I think you should focused on one search engine that's Google coz that search engine can give you lots of traffic.

thats a load of baloney I started a site last month and already rank page one for a lot of my keywords on Google

If you have some blogs put your url using keywords in each one
So you have a link to your site every page.

Social bookmark your site and post all of these links created to a free blog on blogger .com

Create a video and submit to several sites using tubemogel (http://www.tubemogul.com/)

Create an article with several titles and summaries and submit using Article Post Robot (http://articlespostrobot.com/)

then post all the article links to your blogger blog you can social bookmark your articles too.

create an rss feed for your site and submit it to directories

yahoo ranks on link mass the more the better

Google also ranks on links but has a quality score for the link relevance and source.

directory submission will help but create links to the pages you have your link on or they will not count for much.

Post a few of your articles on free to use sites like

Google knol
yahoo 360 blog
My Space
Geo pages
Free Webs
Squidoo
Hubpages

And bookmark them and submit their rss feeds to aggregators

Write a press release and submit to prweb

The trick to ranking and getting traffic is to build links from many different sources using different keywords as hyperlinks
