Google Bans Prismotube?

Hello Webmasters:

prismotube.com is providing automatic updated video site... But after some research i found many of this script site is may be banned by Google or de-indexed... some sites that may be banned listed below:

1. usajuda.com (very quickly increasing at one time Google indexed more than 40000 pages... then suddenly Google banned or de-indexed whole site)

2. videos.gagezone.com (another promising site but suddenly got banned or de-indexed by Google)

3. bestbollyvideos.com (another site uses prismotube and got banned)

Some Sites that uses script successfully Listed Below:

1. freshnews.in/video/ (thousands pages indexed by Google)
2. realitytv.it (another very promising site increases rapidly)

and many more...

What this script doing?

1. this script has custom player (so youtube watermark not shows)
2. you can download youtube video with one click

in my opinion these two are main functions of this script...

So my question is these two function is ok with Google or you can banned by Google... because today many big sites using custom player (for stop showing youtube name) and download function also using by many big sites...

Hello to all,

I am the owner of PrismoTube.com and I will provide you some reasons why would a site using prismotube script would get banned and how to be safe.


1) Nullified Version of PrismoTube, if we find out that a domain is not licensed by us, an email will be sent to google abuse departement and most probably the domain will get banned from adsense and google search engine.


2) Custom player does not show Youtube watermark might also cause this problem, with PrismoTube 2.0 you will be able to edit flash vars from the admin area witch lets you add a youtube watermark, in this case you are safe.

3) With prismotube you will be able to download videos directly from youtube in FLV or MP4 formats, this also might be the cause but at the same time it is your choice, you can disable this feature from the admin area.

4) A domain name with bad history, fraud, credit issues with adsense.


Other than that there is no reason to get banned from google, the script uses google API service.

What ever the reason that some of the sites are being banned using prismotube
I have an installed script at http://www.delmarrworks.com/gorges/ and the service that I have received from the guys there was nothing short of awsome and on xmas day, the script is up and running sweet and all I can say is thanks to the guys at prismotube for the service that you gave me at http://www.delmarrworks.com/gorges/ and that I have followed the guidlines of youtube in regards to copyrights etc as mentioned above.

1. I don't think, honestly, that Google gives a shit about either a domain uses nulled scripts or not :)
2. As long as you use the custom player and this doesn't link to the youtube page and, most of all, doesn't show the adsense adverts, this could be a problem - you can't just use their content and their bandwidth for free.
3. Probably the download could also lead to banning prismotube powered site.
4. Hard to believe that Google will ban a domain because it had a bad history - when is banned, is banned and when the ban is raised,
I don't think they'll ban a domain because they made mistakes in the past.

And my personal opinion: I don't think Google is banning prismotube sites; it just doesn't pay much attention to them because their number increased. Think about hundreds of similar sites with the same content. Nothing original, am I right? Plus, you're pulling the content from Google's sites, lol, so probably you'll never get high ranking with this search engine. Maybe it will work with yahoo or live, who knows, but sooner or later, even if you get many visitors in the begining, Google will realise that your site has nothing new and we all know what happens to the duplicate content sites - they get ignored or, worst, banned.
This is the reason why I'm using nulled scripts before I'll buy them and, yes, I used the v.1 nulled of prismotube, got almost 50 visitors/day in the first month and then 1-2/day. So I've deleted it and decided not to use it or buy it.

For sure if all prismotube users are using the same keywords to pull videos, then all the sites will have the same content... but thats not the purpose of this script... you need to select your own specific keywords to create your own niche... thats the only way your going to get ranked. :)

Hi I use youtube api service on my site too and I have 33000 pages indexed on google, I have used the custom player but did not remove the youtube watermark and followed the instructions below:

1, should not use any advertisement in the pages where youtube videos are showed alone or we should add other sufficient content which are not from youtube in that page.

2, should not use our logo over youtube videos.

3, should not obscures the video content (i tried fit video in player which hide some part of video )

4, should not use any video advertisement in that page which look like youtube content

5, should add powered by youtube logo in footer of all page whc use youtube API (code(dot)google(dot)com/apis/youtube/branding.html)
