Is this company slowly dying ?

Microsoft is not interested in buying them anymore even at 50% discount from previous offer.
Google does not want to use them as an advertising partner anymore.

Their email system is constantly having problems.(I couldn't log in today!!)
.....delivery delays or sometimes it never gets there. I've used bcc and it comes to gmail right away but not Yahoo. And don't say check your spam folder. I am not that green, c'mon.

What is Yahoo's strong point nowadays? are they just going to be another AOL.
I see absolutely no improvements or features with this company for the public in years!!

Please, tell me just a few things so I can be up to date.

well it could be used for backup as it still has strong fundamentals. They did a good job in yahoo messenger and emails. For the rest of its products Yahoo is really not my choice nowadays. most of its products have been outpaced in terms of quality by others. it doesn't have anything unique or of superior quality that others don't have and u only need seconds to switch to another better website.

I don't know :/ but Yahoo! better watch it, it still amazes me that they are like the most visited website on the internet, but they are struggling to stay alive

maybe it is hitting a slow decline but i don't think it will not go as far as the death of this company.

Search is crap, but i use it as my home page for the news and articles. They still provide decent content.

I agree about their services. The email system is not the best and too strict if you don't login in oftern. I have to like reactivate every couple of months.

Well they are like GM, they found a way to make money and once they did they focused on cutting costs rather than improving their own infrastructure or following the trends of their visitors.

Lol. Thats hilarious :P

I wouldn't say I could not see Yahoo! dying, but at the same time, I don't think it will... It will probably see a time where it is about to die, but I don't think it will...

But people using their free email and IM services won't do much of anything, its not a steady flow of income, sure they will get money from ad clicks, but its not steady
