Thanks for the update. I submitted some of my sites a while back when it was only 500+ directory links and have seen daily Google Alerts to this day with new links they have found from this network. Keep up the good work - great product and very reasonably priced.

Hello,
I have submitted my main forum which is PR3, thank you.
My newest site is only 1 week old and doesn't have a PR yet, can I still submit it?
EDIT:
I think I submitted http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk to the wrong category, can you please move it to: Forums (Discussion) » Electronics?
Thanks

Hi Devilfish,
Yes it'll be approved in a minute as I'm online now.
My experience told me that PR(N/A) or PR(0) upgrade faster from owner who pay for links because they are more agressive to index they websites.
http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk : Approved

Do all the directories use the same database? Each directory seems to have the same amount of links and same amount of links pending?
Also are they on the same ip address?

Has my network is growing fast, I already bought a new hosting plan (HostGator) for a second database on another IP address.
As I did't have any problems to improve my own Pagerank, I'm not sure if having more then one IP address as an impact on Pagerank.

Just out of curiosity - what is the cost going to be when you move up to 1,000 directories?
Also, Host Gator has a great side company called SEO Hosting (http://www.seohosting.com/) as it does matter how many IP addresses you have for these directories (even different C classes) for maximum SEO benefit.

Also, just submitted an order for the first time to all 781 with the $49.95 package. Curious to see how long it takes and what results (backlinks) the engines identify. Thanks...:-)

You mean all dirs have different setup files and sharing same database.
Or all sites on different account.
Please don't say that they are also sharing phpld files.

I still didn't understand man.
I am in directories form last 2 years.
Why all your dirs look same. And the man thing is database.
All dirs have same thing. Nothing unique.
All on same IP address. And if you we can link then link publish on all dirs same time that is not also good for SE.
btw, best of luck with this new trend.

Wow They all have the same IP, Same Skin, Same database.....
Looks like to me this qualifies as a link farm.
Someone correct me if I am wrong here. But wouldn't this be considered duplicate content as they are duplicate sites, skins and databases not to mention same IP.
Am I wrong here?
So if someone reports you to Google, then I will suffer also if my links there? Is this correct?

I think you are right! These things are spoiling the directory industry. And along with bad directories good directories and websites are punished and banned by google; And everybody in these industry knows that and faced the blow!

To Spin and Urlstand,
This network is improving every week. Pagerank are improving at each Google pagerank update and also Alexa ranking is improving every day. Directorygator.com has already an Alexa traffic rank of 273K.
As the directories templates is a free one, there is a lot of them on the net, thousands of them, so it's not a problem for Google.
What is the difference between a Link Farm and a Web Directory?
A link farm is mere collection of links with no set categories under which the links are placed. Anyone and everyone can submit their links and there is little or no editorial review of these links. In essence, these links have been built for the sole purpose of manipulating the search engines and not designed for the end user. One can identify a link farm from its link pages, where there are hundreds of links on one page and all of them linking to out sites of various topics. There is basically no meaningful purpose or intention behind the links on the page.
A web directory, on the other hand, is not only a collection of links but the links have been categorized under relevant topics and sites are listed only after they undergo editorial review. Directories are useful to the user in that if a user wanted to find a site under a particular topic, it would be easy to go to the appropriate category and choose from the selection of links. All links in a web directory are well-categorized and meaningfully sorted out. Not every link that is submitted to a directory will necessarily be listed as there is always some kind of supervision over the links allowed in a directory.
I understand why these comments as I'm a direct competitor for you guys but I'm here to offer the best Directory Network at the lowest price...
Best Regards
DirectoryGator.com Owner
