Are Adwords and Overture mutually exclusive?

How much overlap is there in the results given from these two sources? Is it safe to say that the two are completely exclusive and that an accurate way to estimate a number of given searches is to simply add the results from the Adwords and Overture?

I'm assuming you mean Wordtracker, not AdWords (within the suggestion tool), but to answer your question, yes... they are mutually exclusive of each other.
