Social Bookmarking link development

Hi,
I'm starting to promote a new site.

I did some reading on link building and the different methods people use for SEO and incoming traffic...

I would like to get links from social bookmarking sites such as digg and stumble upon..

I found a lot of companies online that offer social bookmarking link building for what seems to be a low fee: $20 - $50 for 100 - 200 and more sites...

Social Bookmarking link building is new to me and i have some questions:


What should i look for when choosing this kind of service provider?
Is it a good idea to get a company to build 100 links from those sites to a new site in it's first month online?
If i do it, what results should i expect? best case and worst case?


I would appreciate any information and tips you can give me about building links this way.. Thanks.

I would ask for what sites, are they do follow links, the page rank and the traffic they get. I think its much better just joining them and bookmark the sites and links you are promoting. if you add other members to your friends list, you may do even better and they may add your content to thier faves list.

Remember..social bookmarking and social networking both are two different things.
In social bookmarking sites like delicious you can tag any page of your site. But in social networking sites, you cannot put any page of your site as in those sites people expect some interesting news or informations. So if you have a product oriented site and you want to submit a product page in those sites, they will mark that submission as spam and may ban your profile.

if you are looking for backlinks, then you must get your site/story page submitted to dofollow SB sites. traffic depends on how many SB sites u submit to. more submissions = more traffic
