$20 Logo Contest

Hey guys, I need a sharp logo for my new website, ArticleStud.Com (http://www.articlestud.com). Please try to be creative with it and keep it simple at the same time. Contest will run until Oct 11 or until I find a design I like :) $20 bucks paypal to the winner. Contest starts now, looking forward to good entries :)

What i'm looking for:
Something that matches the site's layout and design and creates a unique identity for it. I will post feedback on all logos posted.

Thanks for the feedback, first thought in my head was "articles"... so I made
an article abstract logo...

Yeah I get what you mean, like I said it's not bad at all but the logo I had in mind would ideally be short and simple, semi-corporate and possibly dealing with the word "Stud". So AKA something bold and very brandable is what I am after. Don't give me a stallion or some guy having sex with a chick though. Lol.

Benobo: Nice design! I'm going to have to put your logo in the lead right now.
tightwad: better but something missing for some reason. Either way, your submission is tied for second with joidia.
Influ: your second logo looks pretty nice, the first one is to educational I think.
joidia: your second logo is on track, Id have to put it a close second.
kiku: not exactly what I'm looking for, sorry.
lebeau: a bit too simple.

tightwad, I love your letters and how you laid them out, what is not doing it for me is the small logo next to them, if not you would be 1st.

Beno, if you are still around, could you modify your first logo and add .com somewhere in it? AKA: ArticleStud.Com. I'd appreciate possibly showing me a variation with both the A and the S capped and without them being capped. Thanks in advance.

What Benobo said is fair.. I dont think it would be good if Tightwad wins the contest by incoroporating the flames from benobo's design..

I had a similar request yesterday from a CH.. He liked the remaining part of my header,but wanted to use a part of the logo idea from another entry.. And I didn't do that..

Edit: TightWad and Beno please PM me..... Tightwad I need your emblem (sweet looking thing) Beno... I need your simple logo approach and a bit of a modification with tightwad's fireball. (Tightwad's seems more brandable and thats something that is important to me).
