For PR,Text link or Banner or Logo?

Hi I just wanted to know if I will buy a banner or logo in a site will it increase my site's PR?I know text link will increase my PR but some of the advertiser I'm buying links with is only offering banner?I know banner is only for traffic only but wasn't really sure if will it help my site's PR.Is there anyway banner will help increase my site's PR?

I've wondered about this as well,, I'd think text links would be better for pr, but a links a link
