I started this thread on another board yesterday (v7n.com) and got such a great discussion going that I thought I would introduce it here to see what users of this board think.

What is Your Favorite Movie....

That Does NOT Have any of these actors in it:

* Orlando Bloom
* Samuel Jackson
* Will Smith
* Tom Hanks
* Harrison Ford

And would everyone please keep in mind that Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise no longer qualify as Actors, they are now entirely Tabloid Celebrities and any acting work that they may do will forever be shadowed in this fact.

For the purpose of this study we will grudgingly allow the inclusion of Ben Affleck as an actor (but we do so hesitantly).

My favorite movie would have to be Scary Movie 4. It's so hard to think of a really good movie that doesn't star any of those people listed.

I'm a little confused by your statement. Maybe it's a little unfair to handicap their acting ability based on the fact they are "Tabloid Celebrities"? How does having news about them in the tabloids make them suddenly become bad actors? They've both done some good acting.

Brad Pitt has maybe done some good acting in the past but not Tom Cruise... I can't think of a movie he's done that has been great. He's just a pretty boy that can sell films... wait, let me re-phrase... He WAS just a pretty boy that could sell films... now he's just creepy.
