$50 Security Company Logo

I need a logo for a security company. To give an insight it is a company that other companies pay to come and clean their offices or individuals pay to come and clean their homes.

Company Name: Securite UK Ltd

The logo does not need the "Ltd" anywhere on it and I would prefer it not to be their.

Specs:
You have total freedom on design, although it should be clean looking and modern. I also think it should portray strength and security, but it is up to you to do what you think looks good.

The winning logo MUST BE provided in large 300dpi .PSD or Illustrator .AI file, no exceptions.

The winning designer will be paid $50 for the design, it isn't alot of money but I don't want alot of design You have to give up the right to display this in your portfolio as I can't risk my client seeing it. In the event I don't like any of them I will pay $25 to the best entry and no artwork will be required.

Payment will be via Paypal or Moneybookers. You choose.

crowquill: Very nice design I will submit it but I feel it may be a little to much.

jagpreet1058: For basically stealing a design and in my opinion lowering the tone of the contest section you will not be considered in this or any future contests I hold. I check all designs for validity, if you can't do your own work then don't bother entering.

tickey: Bit to simplistic, I could put it forward but would be interesting to see if you could improve on it. Also the padlock would still work it the C was the right way round :) Second Design: I will submit this one.

To some, the initials "SUK" might look bad, however, it's been proven that reverse psychology works & an abbreviation like that will draw a BUNCH of attention, even if it's mere curiosity. It's then up to the company to convert the curious into clients :)

Ok this will be the last lot of feedback as I will be submitting them to the client after this post.

waiz86: Sorry this is way to busy and not really what we are looking for.

shinan: Clean logos, good attempt I will put them forward.

thelebeau: I personally don't think this is the right image but I will submit it to the client.

Hecky: Good, Clean, Modern Design not to complex and the icon is brandable. This will be submitted.

mayathebee: Not to a high enough standard of design sorry.

waiz86: I am not over keen on the badge style of icons, I will put this forward for reveiw but don't feel it's what the client is after.

CR70: It isn't "THAT TYPE" of security company, thanks anyway.

plugzzzz: Unfortunatly I did post that it had nothing to do with cleaning, I like the logo and icon but it isn't right for what i want, This would be more suited to a website then letterheads and business cards.

All in all I am again very impressed with the entries. I will submit today and update here when I have feedback. If you have any concerns PM me. I think I would have liked to have seen a few using an Eye Icon to represent being watched, watching over things. But nevermind.

The client chose to use an idea similar to the one in the top left of this image. So congratulations. The logo does need to be changed but we will do that ourselves. Can you please email the font used and the .AI file and them pm your paypal details for payment.

Design Received and Money Sent.

Just some open advice for everyone who is sending vector files for logo's. When you are cutting shapes down like circles it would be helpful if you actually know how to cut the shape with the clipping mask tools, as when you just cover parts of it with a white box it means the logo will only work on one color background when complete.

Luckily I had to redo this logo anyway but this should be kept in mind as it goes without saying logo's should not be limited to where they can be used.

Again thank you to everyone who entered and there are some very talented designers in these forums. I should have another project on here soon and look forward to working with you all again.
