View Full Version : Question about Squidoo

I have a Squidoo account. Right now I have the first paragraph or so of articles and then a text link that says to click to read the rest of it. Apparently it is not enough content even with 300 or so words.
I was trying to get traffic to my articles this way but under the circumstances I am considering a different strategy. I am thinking about including the entire article with a text link to my home page.
This should be no problem but I want to put 7 or so additional text links back to other articles and or product pages. Will Squiidooo consider this spamming or penalize me in any way

To get a Squidoo lens out of WIP (Work in Progress) mode and thus make the links dofollow, it needs to have at least three modules (not including the introduction or guestbook modules).

Try breaking your article up into 3 or 4 text/write modules. That way you can also add larger sub-headings and more images.

Your links shouldn't be a problem.

You can include links to any of your website, a good way for marketing.

The links won't be a problem at all.
JUst make sure your squidoo lense is as big as possible (more text content).

Do the links from Squidoo pages count much for Google SERP?
Aren't they considered spam (anyone can post as many lens as they want) ?

Yes, links from Squidoo count when they're DoFollow. They are not considered as spam.
Just because anyone can submit as many articles as they want to Digg, doesn't make Digg a link farm right?
Or any other social bookmarking site, forum, etc. in that matter :D
