Because at digg your only tagging content that is elsewhere not uploading to it..
You should submit your article to article directorys such as ezinearticles.com
x 10 others
then bookmark and DIGG your article url at those directories..
search socialmarker i think its called
-good luck

Yep you need to use an article directory to submit your content to. Try a few of these below. Of course EzineArticles is the top right now.
- Ezine Articles (http://ezinearticles.com)
- Article Dashboard (http://www.articledashboard.com/)
- SumContent (http://www.sumcontent.com)
- ArticlePros (http://www.articlepros.com/)

social bookmarking sites are not for submitting articles but your story page with title/tags/url. if you want to submit articles, use article directories. you can also publish your article by creating a page on several social networking sites like squidoo, hubpages, Qassia (http://www.squidoo.com/qassia-link-building) (new) etc.

if you submit so many urls from same domain and the digg users commented as spam then digg will ban that url.
in that case you cannot use that url on digg anymore.
I also have the same problem. I keep on submitted around 20 articles of my site. and they banned my url. so i cannot use that url any longer.

Did you submit 20 articles in total or 20 articles per day? If it was 20 articles in total, how quickly did you submit them, was it in a week or month? I can't believe that Digg would ban a domain for submitting 20 articles. Are you saying that you submitted the exact same article 20 times? Please explain

I think you should submit the articles to the articles directory and after your articles been published then you tag them using social bookmarking (DIGG) or social network Stumble Upon.

I have more than 20 pages tagged in Digg from my website and am not banned. These were submitted over a period of time though. However, I once did a mass submission of another site and it got banned from Digg.

when i submitted my articles, I did not know they will ban the url. I used to submit few articles everyday. I think they banned my domain in a week or so. It happened almost an year back

I tried to submit my GoArticles article, and some of the sites banned me for it. I'm wondering why this is, as well.

Social Bookmarking sites are not for articles. yes you can submit your article to some blogs or article sites and then bookmark them on social sites :)

It appears that Digg is not dumb and they don't want us wascally webmasters spamming them so my question is, is it safe to submit my article that resides on ezine or associated content or........ once a month per url, twice a month or less frequently? I know no one outside of digg knows the correct answer but it appears it is ok to submit multiple articles that are linking to my site, only do it slowly, only how slowly? Also is it the url of my website, or the url of the article directory site? I am assuming it is my website url correct? When you say your url was banned, what happened to the articles already submitted? Did they remain or were they removed?

I submit all the content I create for my own blog or for articles by allowing others to bookmark it for me. My blog is 10 days old yet I have enough RSS subscribers that articles will get submitted to all the major bookmarking sites for me.
