View Full Version : How YPN tax works?

I am new to YPN and i did'nt got my first payment yet.
Do we have to pay tax manually or yahoo automaticly deduct tax from our earnings before they send check?

You will take the revenue as income and will have to declare that revenue on your tax returns.

I think there is an option to have YPN take out taxes.

there is an option, but they don't have it working yet...I think it will be working once they get out of beta phase...

They do have auto tax deducation. Search the forums please. There are few threads about it.

No reason to have anyone else hold your tax money for you. You can have them deduct, but no reason to have the government hold your money for a year at 0% return. Planning will allow you to make a few more dollars with your money.

Well Ive never seen the tax deduction other than it say it in the where it says it in the pay section of yahoo. I have also searched the forum and find nothing of it actually working yet as I had thought. So since you know the scoop why not tell all of us where you get your info and a reference to it cause I see NOTHING.

I have seen the stuff, filled it in, and taxes are not taken out of my payments...so what are you doing that the rest of us don't know??

You either didn't do it on time, or you havnt done it right. I did mines back on 3rd of last month, come 26th, my $6,000 was deducted. You ought to give them a ring and check out whats up. As a matter of fact, that's what I did. They gave me a step-by-step on how to do it.

no point in letting the feds sit on your $$$ right now. might as well keep the money and invest it and pay the taxes at the end of the year
