heh just curious to see who has experienced getting out of the sandbox quickly?
I am thinking about starting some new sites and the idea of the sandbox is starting to irk me. lol already nervous but i guess if i set them up now and just leave them for 3 months it should be alright, right?
lol
love to hear about your experiences.
thanks,
juls

It really depends on the site, the difficulty of the keyword, and many other factors, I feel.

Yep, my thoughts too, it varies.
I have one site with a very competitive keyword launched in May 04 and it's first page allinanchors, no where in the regular serps.
Second site, launched August 04, medium competitive keyword, first page allinanchors, just appeared at 20 something last week.
These have been seo'd in pretty much the same way, but the more competitive kw is much deeper in sand.

seen sites come out within 3 months, some have taken 9 months. It varies, not sure it varies on the difficulty of the keyword though!

heh i asked the same question recently and the response i got was the time during that google places a flag/filter to your site holding your site back from its true serps/rank positions.
hope that helps...

I've recently written an article about it. I hope it helps:
