You are going to need a higher budger if you want to compete with the many travel portals out there. Lonely Planet isn't just a website, its an entire business reaching over many areas.
That is going to cost a lot more than $100 to get started.
Otherwise you may make the odd click in AdSense but that will be about it.

The name itself is pretty catchy, however, it seems to not want to stick to the project you wish to append it to

I think your domain name is fantastic. Its very brandable and only a 2 word domain. What you need to focus on now is the correct industry keywords to optimize in for this domain. The great thing is that these target keywords can be implemented as subdomains on your designated landing pages. (ex. Kreativeearth.com/hawaiitraveldestinations). To me, it would make since to target specific GEO locations like, Hawaii, Cozumel, LasVegas, Montana, etc.
If I can assist you in this area, please let me know as I am also the owner of iOptimizerss.com - website optimization specialist.

I don't like the domain name. The concept is ok. The "k" in there throws it off. Maybe something like destinationearth.com or travelearth.com or conceptearth.com or thinkearth.com Do you see what I mean? Use "normal" words or you will have hard time succeeding.

hmmm not too big on the domain name - no offense. however think that could be a fun project but you'll need tons of content!

Wake up? You seem to like having a go with anyone who doesn't say "What a great idea and domain"
He was alluding to types of domain names he felt were a better fit
