I'm starting a reviews section on my website and have made a star to show the number of stars an product has been given. Let me know what you think of it. My goal when designing it was to have it look very professional.

May I suggest maybe shrinking the font with the words and hten increasing the font on the number.

Same comment as the buttons you posted. That inner bevel just doesn't look right, not sure why.

It looks like a cookie with frosting. Why not make the stars smaller and include the text above or below the image?

Over all the star looks good.Try changing the colour of the font.Take care of the size of the font while you make the neccessary changes.

Yes, change color of the star - make it hotter or make colors depends on rating - this is good advice
Also change font - don't very cool, really
