Can anyone explain this?

I am really confused...I have two external links under awstats that have generated over 15k of pageviews for the month of September but they don't show up once under google analytics for referring sites. How is this possible? It also just happens that these two sites are competitiors of mine. What should I do about this?

well, it's hard to explain
i use google analytics as well

my main site - on the root directory got no hits at all
but on my other site is not on the root directory are showing all the hits getting into my main site :)
i was like wtf

those two sites are not even related to each other
my main site is adult site - and the other one is mainstream site
it's so confusing how google analyst determinate the hits,
all i can say is google's analyst agorithemn is not good enough
