I am hoping I am asking this question in the correct one of the fourms.

Does anyone know if and how a .htaccess file can be used to create the mappings that an add-on domain has with it concerning webalizer website statistics? What I am desiring to do is to create the subdomain when a person signs up for hosting, then when we are ready to add the domain name, I can add it as a parked domain on the main account, and automaticall via php file writing, add something to a .htaccess file. My question is what needs to be written to the .htaccess file to allow this.

The server setup I am using is cPanel based, and I do have the ability to add the .htaccess files wherever I want in the file path to accomplish this. Also all of the sites I am hosting in this method are essentially pointed at the same index.php file which will then determine what content and pages to serve up.

Thanks in advance,
Dan
