Hi,

I am new to clickbank and started making money(not big :)).
I know that a lot of products are craps.A product may not be able to satisfy
all it's promises but some products are 100% scams.I would like to specify two names

http://netmoviedownloads.com/
http://www.wiimediadownloads.com/

These sites just redirects people to torrent sites like torrentz.com and ask them to download from there.I am really angry about these perfect scams.I wonder why Clickbank allow there 100% scams. Please leave your replies

You're right. I really can't figure out why Clickbank has no problem accepting these illegal, scam sites. I think someday, they're going to find themselves in some trouble as a result.

Ipod downloads are not allowed, but PSP, games, music, movies stuff is still allowed.

I think they will get shut down soon as well.

Sad thing is many of the main websites even rich jerk etc are considered RED or YELLOW websites by McAfee which means they have been tested to have spyware, adware, spam, scams, or fraud directly associated with them. So you think a company as large as clickbank would check from time to time what websites are getting a lot of returns or talk around the net of being a scam.

They're linking to torrents, that's correct, however people are purchasing the knowledge to download games and movies it's simple, they dont know about torrents if they're purchasing the products, so they're getting what they're after.

I'm sorry but if you're offended by piracy then half of the internet is off limits to you, your doctors, police officers, school teachers and much more all commit piracy because in this day and age it's something which is huge. I'm not saying it's right, I myself download over 50-70 gig of content weekly (not torrents, I use rapidshare forums etc) it's not fair on the creators I agree, however the movie, music and gaming companies need to adapt to todays age and change their systems, because piracy isn't going to die.

The clickbank product is providing the information on how to download content, the ability to download content is given. I'm in the downloads niche for a long time in clickbank now, and with the exception of movie pay sites I get a really low refund rate on all the piracy products I promote because the people are satisfied with what they get.

Nerly everything in Clickbank can be found as free information on the internet, if you don't like promoting things which are already available for free, move onto CJ.

I think clickbank is walking very close to legal issues. I wouldn't promote products that blatantly teach people how to commit copyright infringement.

because piracy isn't going to die.
I bet they could end it if they implement the three strikes policy they did in France. After you're banned from the internet, it becomes much more difficult to pirate.

These programs all come and go, if they become popular then enough ruckus is raised and they die off again.

It's not possible to track many warez users, AOL themselves got backed into a corner being told they have to stop them, when their experts themselves have said it's not possible to track it.

I think all only have money, and don't think about customer's interests.

Some products are alright, ebooks for example. I wouldn't sell anything else though.

whether it's a scam or not is an individual perspective ... the fact is, all clickbank products have a 60 day refund window. if a customer feels dissatisfied with a product they can get a refund ... if they don't, that's their perogative.

if they feel that they got value by learning how to download stuff, so be it ... people on this forum are probably more web savvy than most, not everyone knows how to get their way around the net ... if you feel something is a scam, don't sell it yourself.

as for the copyright issues ... well yes, that is another angle to it all ...

It's Just about the money, just like popular sites allow scam sites to have paid banners on there sites. You see them all over myspace, facebook etc..

Thanks for your replies

I cannot agree with the concept of promoting any craps because Clickbank provide 60 day money back guarantee.I believe in "win-win-win" policy.
When a sale is made

publisher wins
Affiliate wins
customer wins(at least 50% of what they expected)

If the customer fails completely,I am not satisfied.

The sites I mentioned have nothing their own.All they have to do is to create a great looking sales page.I still wonder how these sites pass the Clickbank verification process.

I don't agree, and i don't mind, as long as i make my money, i really don't care what clickbank are doing:)

And just let me ask you somthing.

Clickbank get at almost 500 new products every day, double it for 50, and double it for a month, if you was clickbank admin, would you accept to get 750,000$ every month, or would you say, hey bro, this is a scam, and i don't want your money?

Just a way to think.

And if you want to make money, just mind your own business, do your work, and get paid:)

There's alot of products on clickbank that are really not worth their pricetag, as the information can usually be found freely on the net. But in this case with promoting illegal downloads, and selling the information on how to download them, that just sounds like a damn good way to get in a whole lot of trouble.

Why not just claim a refund if you're not happy?

That's not really the right way of thinking about it.

If you are going to make money using ANY methods, then Clickbank could also put up some porn advertisements on their website, and they will make extra few thousands a month, but come on.....

I think the reason, why download sites are still there, because they provide knowledge to people on how to download stuff, which is already on the Internet.

They don't explain how to crack software or how to steal someone's work. Torrents are all about sharing, and sharing is not illegal.

Why do you think PirateBay, MiniNova, and all those other torrents sites are alive? That's because they don't have any illegal content on their websites. All they have there are torrents uploaded by users.

The actual files are located on uploaders computers, so those sites have nothing to do with people who crack and steal stuff. Basically, they just act as a middle person between people who want to share and people who want to download.
