$30 - Logo Contest for Shoe Company

Hi there,

I am running a contest for a Shoe Company named Stucey's Shoes. The only really specs required are that I would like a pink and black theme please, and for the logo to be shoe like.

The winner will receive $30, and I will only pick a winner if the designs are up to the standard we need.

Please make the briefing less generic. What target audience do you have in mind: girls, ladies, unisex, haute couture, discount? You know, the logo will possibly be at least a third of the company´s capital, so it should pay off being as precise as possible. No offense to anyone, but having an actual shoe in the logo will likely place it at the lower half of the price scale in the customer´s eyes (there are no car companies with actual cars in their logos, the same goes for practically every branch, because it´s mostly redundant).

Finally, do you have a deadline?

Yes, but that doesn´t change anything. Make a list of the best logos for shoes you know, and there won´t be any literal depictions of shoes in them.

I guess we will have to wait to see if the CH will clarify if they want a shoe image or icon or something representative of a shoe in the logo. there is nothing wrong with that.
It sounds like they do , and since they want PINK, Im guessing ladies shoes. I could be wrong.
No I can't think of any shoe logos that have a shoe in them

But many companies have an icon or image that is representative of their product or company name. And there is nothing wrong with that.

How about Apple computers ? their logo is an Apple.
How about Windows ? They have an icon of a window.
Mr, Clean logo has a picture of Mr. Clean
Starkist tuna, has a picture of Charlie the tuna.
Green giant vegetables logo, has a picture of a Green Giant.
Planters Nuts logo , Has Mr. Peanut.
Jaguar , logo has a picture of a Jaguar.
Dodge Ram trucks logo has a Ram's head.
and on and on.
And these are all Big successful companies.
