Hi guys,
I need a logo for a new site I'm about to start called Brush Video.
I will pay $40 in PayPal to the winner, please make sure you can deliver the logo in vector format.
I need this pretty quick, in like 2 days. Thanks!

Why not post it here? Is it a copyright infringement?

If it was, why would I wait for discoverclips to buy it?
I just wanted a bit more privacy and personal feedback.
Anyway, people who saw the others guys work take advantage.

I believe you (and everyone else) would greatly benefit, if you provided a little more information about your venture. Is it a film (movie) company, a file sharing site, ...? Is there a meaning behind "Brush" that you´d like to be reflected in the logo? I see no instant connection between a painter´s brush and video.

Actually, after observing these contests for a year now as a member I've noticed more infringement offerings in private than legitimate. The primary reasoning is because the one infringing knows they are wrong & that other designers might point it out to the CH, thus causing them to lose the contest automatically.
Designers have been pointing out infringements for CH's here a long time now, it helps keep things honest.
I'm not saying you've infringed, I'm sure you are on the up & up. It's just a precaution that should be taken into account for any ch holding a contest in forums.
Experienced CH's that have been burned by designers before, you'll notice make it a clear stipulation in the Project brief that there shall be NO pmed entries.
Again, I'm sure you're not infringing on any rights.
If a CH wants to go private, they normally hire a firm outright & don't hold a public forum contest, OR they contact the designer them self & initiate the private dealings.
Just my 2 cents....
Good luck to you & all the other contestants :)

I agree that more information would lead to better design concepts. My primary take (On the creative side) for my original (Digital) brush was a logo that incorporated the artistic splash of color to the video screen while using solid static lines to represent the digital side of it all. With the info I had to go by & the name of the site, it seemed fitting.
I suppose it's all in how one looks at it. Though yes, again, more info will be helpful from the CH. :)

scorpionagency, I understand your point, and actually, I have no problems at showing my work. If it is selected, it will be for everyone seeing it.
But I know what you mean.
Anyway, if the buyer doesn't know whether he is buying something legit or not, it's kinda weird.

Hey guys, thank you for all the entries! All logo's really did look nice and were potential winners.
But I've made a choice and picked katesrobyn's logo as winning logo.
Thanks again to everyone!
