Selling domain..

Well, this is the first time I'm ever selling my domain.. and I gatta ask..
"How" do you do it? How do you give them rights to the domain?

Most registars have a way to "push" the domain to another person. With godaddy it is very easy, all you need to do is fill in the new person's info and they get an email to finish the transaction.

You used namecheap to register the url, it is even EASIER than godaddy.
You just push using the new owners username...none of that godaddy form of getting the name, address, state, zip, phone number, country, email crap.

I sold a domain through Sedo not that long ago. Was my first domain sale and was clueless how to actually do it. Sedo guides you every step of the way and tells you what you need to do next. They get 10% of the sale, but well worth it, because they know the proper procedures and sequence for transferring with all the major registrars. (ie. You registered it with 1&1, they tell you how and where to go on the 1&1 site to do whatever you need to do)

Definetaly, SEDO is the best place. But I also consider TDNAM despite ppl still dont like it. Never go with Afternic just because they require payment for listing

depends on which registar you use, normally, the registar will allow you push the domain to the other user within the registar, you need the other's customer ID or user name, for example. On godaddy, the procedure is a bit complicated, you need to use change account and fill in the others' personal infomations to do so, I hope that helps.
