Login to your godaddy account, click on or check the domain you want to push to another godaddy user.
Then click on "change account" button.
On the left, you will see the information you need to enter to push.

When I was trying to find out how to push a domain at godaddy their FAQ messed me up pretty good. Throughout their site they say "push" but in the FAQ they referred to it as a transfer. Just messed me up a little.

Funny and ironic - I'd never done this before, always done via transfers from other registrars, etc.

I actually called their domain concierge on Saturday and a very helpful person walked me patiently through it - new domain and site owner had it in less than 15 minutes; flawless.

You will need the other person's complete information to do this though ... otherwise everything iowadawg (Joe) said is 100% on the money of what the conceirge walked me through - it was just that simple ... if you're not a blonde that is :D

Is there a way to transfer the godaddy domains to another member, without any fee?

Or.... how do we transfer a domain from my account to other godaddy fellow?

Thanks ,
Vladimir

All of the information you need is above. There is no cost if you follow those instructions ;)

It's also important to know the following :

The person receiving the domain will receive an email with codes that they need to enter into their account, in the 'Accept Account Change' section. That much is easy. But then the person has to go through the whole Checkout process just as if they're registering a new domain - they even need to enter payment information, even though the cost is listed as $0.00 ! The trick for not entering payment information is to select 'pay by check'. The whole domain push/checkout process is long and a lot of buyers get confused and don't finish the whole process.

And pushing multiple domains can be even more of a hassle. I have written a complete tutorial on this, it's on DNForum at :

http://www.dnforum.com/showthread.php?p=892428

(you may need to be a member of DNForum to read the tutorial)

A.

Thank you for this tutorial, that's damn straight forward, this guys from GoDaddy have no idea how to write a good step by step tutorial.

Thanks for the big heads up!

Vladimir

Yes, the receiving person will need to go through the whole checkout process even when the cost is $0.00

When you push a domain, godaddy does not send the files if they are hosted with godaddy do they?
You have to remove the files yourself, after you zip them up and send to the buyer?
