Just in case you haven't noticed PayPal Europe !! has now dropped the mandatory signup in line with PayPal US.

Customers no longer need to have an account or generate an account they can opt for one at the end of the process.
This, the easy backend integration, invoiicing solution and the latest price hikes on WP will make it a serious contenter here in Europe.
We will certainly try to take full advantage of this as I love the ability to have multiple currencies allowing me to pay US in dollar directly etc, thus avoiding the double wammy of currency exchanges....
