I have found a domain that i really want. It expired on the 26th of august but when i try to register it says its not available and the registrar status is
Registry Status: clientDeleteProhibited
Anyone know when i can register this, or how?

it might because somebody has secured it once it's dropped on August 26th. My suggest, just Backorder the domain you want when it's on "expiring" status, so you have a good chance to get it.

Once a domain expires it goes into a redemption period and may not actually be deleted for 30 to 60 days (can be longer depending upon who the registrar is). Many domains get picked up via backorder services like SNAP or POOL and you don't have any chance of registering the domain without using a backorder service. If multiple people want the domain, it can go to auction.
