Problem on Renewal.

I had bought a site last year, But that time was new so used my friends registration id on Mydomain. But last week it expired. But now i want the renewed on my ID. Can someone tell me 3 thing:

1) When the domain expires will all my backlink and PR go???
2) Is the registration possible in Godaddy. ( The domian was first registered in My Domain.)
3) Is this all possible.

Please help me out on this.

Your domain should be in redemption period. It's not possible to transfer your domain to another registrars at this stage. You need to use your friend ID to pay the redemption fees to request get back your domain.

However, if you are lucky enough (The domain not expired more than 5 days), then you can still renew your domain and just pay the normal renewals fee.

can we renew a domain after it expires (in 5 days) in each and every case? or there are some limitations to it.
