This client has their basic text layout, and just need it "fancied" up a bit to look more professional for their new website and print purposes. Final file should be a vector so we can resize easily if needed. Actually, we'll need 2 files. One containing just the MMH portion, and one containing the entire logo.
The business is Morgan's Mountain Homes, and they make rustic log furniture and do remodels on mountain homes. The MMH portion of the text will be turned into a branding iron and burned into their furniture (like this: http://www.brandish.com). So the MMH must be in a very crisp looking font. The one in the example below is Lithos Pro, but we are open to other fonts. The MM need to be positioned to look like mountains, as in the example.
You can play around with colors (shades of green- earthy, mountain tones) and maybe add an illustration to make the logo stand out more.
Client will be available to give feedback two-three times daily. Contest will close early if we find what we're looking for. Contest may be extended or canceled if we don't.

And the example? :P
Also, you really should offer a prize nonetheless if you find what you are looking for or not - you don't have the iTrader rating to have people trust your word as reputable buyer. Just some advice to help you attract better designers to your competition :)

Amit- I really appreciate the try, but that looks nothing like the example, does not follow the color scheme I mentioned, and does not represent what the business does at all.

My browser must be dying on me :D - Thankyou for providing the URL though! Here is my proposal for your contest:
- A Modified version of your chosen Lithos Pro font
- Full Vector
- Works in colour, or mono

amit: Again, thanks for the try, but you aren't really anywhere near what we're looking for. Good luck in your future design work!

Great job! Simple and not cluttered, yet to the point. Client loves it. Maybe make the tree green instead of gray?
Offiri0: The design is too simplistic. You did a great job of following the basic guidelines, but it just needs something more.
ASM Design: Concept is a good one. Font for the company name is a little plain though.
Mangobyte: Again, good concept. All of the separation between the MMH makes it difficult to create a good branding iron. Client didn't like the font for the company name text.

Thankyou for the feedback :) The font isn't a problem - it can be changed to suit your clients taste quite easily. Please think of the logo/branding idea as my main entry submission. It can easily be used on a branding iron, as well as for print & web. Any changes you wish having, please throw them at me!
Here is another typeface version:

ASMDesigns- Although they really liked the design, the client has decided that a vertical brand will work better for what they're trying to do.
Mangobyte- Your brand is also more horizontal than vertical.
Jackieh1791- Too cartoony/illustrated looking.
Ershan- There is no discernable brand in what you created, although the design is nice.
CottonStella- You got the concept of the brand quite nicely, but the client felt the illustrations just weren't right for what they're trying to portray.
Beforenoon- You have been declared the winner!! Let's communicate in PM for file and payment transfer.
