Professional Logo, Favicon and Banner Contest - $100 total via paypal or money order

I started a company recently and I need a Professional logo, Favicon and Header made for a future website.

Prizes will be awarded for completed work via paypal or domestic/international money order as follows:
Logo - $40 USD
Header - $40 USD
Favicon - $20 USD


Description of what is needed in the images:
**To hide this thread from search engines, I have masked the company name with dashes.
Company Name (remove dashes for complete name): M-a-j-e-s-t-i-c B-i-o-f-u-e-l-s
*PM me if you would like me to disclose the name without the dashes if this confuses you

Logo-
Resolution: No preference
Company Name included on Logo
Text only or text with images are welcome for submissions!

Header-
Resolution: 1280x180;
No text or words, images only
Please concentrate on the biodiesel and/or the "green" industry.
Limit the use of the sunflower and Solar power to a minimum if you choose to include them.


Favicon-
Resolution: 16x16

Any submissions of copyrighted pictures, other than those that are royalty free, will disqualify you from this event.
Up to three winners will be picked based on my personal preference, though you are encouraged to submit as many entries as you like.
All winners will be picked and notified within 24 hours of contest end.
Final deadline for submissions will be 72 hours, starting from when this thread was first posted.
Please remember this is a real company so you will be required to sign an Artist Release Form before your prize(s) will be sent. A signature of a legal guardian will be required if you are not of age to sign legal documents in your state/providence.
All prize(s) will be sent or mailed within 72 hours of recieving the completed Artist Release Form via paypal or if you prefer, I will gladly mail you a domestic or international money order.

Feel free to PM me if you would like feedback on any ideas you may have. I do have a normal job but will be able to check in occasionally, my time zone is PST in the united states (GMT-7).

Please note the title says Banner when it should be Header.

Thanks for the contest. Here is my first try. You said you didn't want text in the header, but I wasn't sure if that also excluded the logo. It can be removed if you like.

xxxplatinium - Looks great, can you make the text a bit smaller or the sphere larger? The logo looks disproportionate with the empty space above the company name.

GreenleafElf17 - I love the leaf Favicon!

jackieh1791 - Great job for your first submission! Both shades of green in the logo look good, but the drop just doesnt do it for me. I know I was vague with hat I wanted in the header, I just need a plain header without a logo or text in it. At the bottom of this post I have listed a site with royalty free, public domain images, I hope it helps!

thelebeau - I did state that listing non royalty free images will disqualify you.. one question that needs to be answered is- Is the plant in your logo your own creation or was it based off of the stock shapes in Photoshop, as jackieh1791 said?

itrungs - Your submission looks great, would it be possible to use more green rather than an all blue image?


I've noticed there was only one header submission. I understand its difficult to come up with non copyrighted images so I found a site to hopefully help with that topic:

publicdomainpictures.net lists royalty free stock photos, all images are free for commercial and personal use and would be great for a header in whole or in spliced together:

Thanks tons for the input. As I'm not the greatest with logos, I'd also like to possibly make a header entry...so I shall try and find time tonight (or tomorrow) to put in an entry. (Finding time for stuff like this is crazy when you have a 2 month and a 2 year old to keep tabs on, LOL!)

itrungs - The logo and Favicon are great, but as I said to jackieh1791, I'm only looking for an image without a logo in the header. Your header does look good, but I'm mostly looking for real life images in the header to help visitors and hopefully customers identify with the philosophy behind the company.

msi52 - both the header and logo look good, but I despise the color pink :)

xxxplatinium - much better on the logo, the header again is exactly what I'm lookg for (but without the static logo). I do need the header and logo images seperate.

yugo - looks good but as I said in a previous post, I want the background to be either a solid picture taken by a camera, or a combination of many snapshots blended into one.

For example. here is one solid image I purchased off of stockphoto, but decided not to use:

Ariestoteles - I dont like the low quality of the logo but the header style is exactly what I'm looking for.

This may sound like a generic answer a company might say at the end of a contest, but believe me it was hard to pick a winner in each category. The final images were chosen based on my requirements and creativity. -I actually needed help making the final decision because I was drawn to 2 or more for my final decision, heh..
